Car Air Conditioning Repairs
Posted by tom under: Cars .
When you have a problem with the car air conditioning you want to get it sorted but auto air conditioning repair seems to be getting more and more difficult. There are a handful of individuals with the skill and know-how to take on this task but they seem to be a dying breed. Our options when it comes to auto air conditioning repair appear to be quite limited.
So when I had a problem recently I discovered the lack of service stations who can deal with the problem of air conditioners who can deal with a cooling system that has died. I immediately visited my most trusted auto mechanic only to discover that he no longer took on auto air conditioning repair jobs.
I was very surprised because this well-known and very reputable mechanic is known as a master in every aspect of car and truck repair. His company is riddled with many vehicles that have problems in the morning. By the time his garage closes, the vehicles are repaired unless they are waiting for parts.
It seemed strange that this talented mechanic not know the ins and outs of auto air conditioning repair? After all, the local school busing company, the police and just about everyone who knows Mr. Smith goes to him for all of their vehicle repair needs. This includes tires, windshield wipers and even the occasional auto accessory.
I was unable to hide my surprise or my disappointment as it was July and it was also pretty hot. I had a feeling that it wasn?t about to get cool anytime soon. He explained that the problem lies in the coolant systems and the Freon used in them. I guess that auto air conditioning repair is quite tricky and there are many standards for getting rid of the extra Freon.
I did not fully understand what he was saying. If I knew everything about car air conditioning I would have fixed it myself but I was trying to figure out where I could take my hot, black car with scorching black leather interior for auto air conditioning repair. I wasn?t really following the conversation at hand. I really wanted to get my vehicle cooled off as soon as possible.
So my favorite mechanic was not able to help me out but he did suggest I should take my very hot vehicle to the dealership where it was purchased as my best bet. I really felt like a traitor especially since my unwavering loyalty to Mr. Smith?s Garage was so strong. The bottom line is when it comes to staying cool in the car, you have to go to a mechanic who can do the work and fix auto air conditioning n a flash becuae its one of those things that you just have to get fixed.
